What is the purpose of opening credits?
An opening credit is for the beginning of a movie, show or game in the opening credit you see the main and important characters and creators. Opening credits can be a list of names or can be a collage of picture or short videos together with the name and creators’ names on the bottom in different text size and fonts. If the movie, show or game does not have an open credit they are most likely at the end. An opening credit can also be a blank black screen with words going opening the screen.
What is the difference in between opening credits and a title sequence?
Opening credits is a plain black short video or picture with character's name going up the screen and a title sequence is a series of shots created to present themselves different and more important. You are more likely to see a title sequence in a series and more likely to see opening credits in a movie. A title sequence tells a story with a short clip of 30 seconds or less. While an opening credit tells a blank story, and you don’t know what to expect.
What technique can be employed in an opening sequence?
Some techniques that can be employed in an opening sequence is a good title that opens the variety of different events and ideas to choose from?
