Hyajah Research Blog#1

RESEARCH?? Research brings everything together and without research you wouldn't have anything to write. After reviewing many vlogs I've come to understand why research is so important/valuable. While I was researching, I've found many strategies to help me with my blog. With all the blogs I have overlooked the past week there was many that have stand out to me that make me want a better understanding of what they mean. The research is what make an overall meaning of what we are writing about. With all my blogs I want to do different meaning with each blog so they each have their own meaning.  Research is necessary because it provides you with, the context that’s necessary to understand and interpret share the subject of your film. Research is also important to organize and plan out Research is necessary for the raw visual materials that will ultimately become the documentary as well as provide you, the filmmaker, the context necessary to understand, interpret, and share the subject of your film. 

Research is also important to organize and plan out your thought process. When I am writing I must drop down everything I can, so I am able to remember my important thoughts. The time I have spent researching and over reading many blogs I have become more intrigued with my project. For example, the process of me researching I’ve realized research can bring something/someone to life. When I am writing my different blog, I want to use different pictures different word type and size and different meanings. All my blogs that I am looking forward to writing will each have their own style, meaning, wording, and texture. Research is the main source of my blogs and I will be talking about my different express with my own words and thoughts.

  What kinds of transitions, effects, and titles are you using? Why?   A: The type of transitions I'm using are ones that don’t catch the audience  eye,  but some do, for  example   in   my film  I used dissolve, fade, and swipe transitions because that was provided by the editing source and it’s a meaning behind it, it goes with the  film.  The effects  in the film are  involving the cast and what they're saying to each other, the green screen which helped a lot because my cast members wouldn’t travel.   How are you using the editing process to create a coherent meaning from your collection of shots? Focus on meaning-making throughout the process   A:  I'm using the editing process in multiple ways for example  I'm  using  WeVideo   and  iMovie which is helping me throughout my process of editing and creating my f ilm .
